Below are different ways that we, and our customers, have made our coffee. There are so many ways to use this, be it in the crock pot, coffee pot, stove top, etc.
To make your coffee in the slow cooker/crock pot:
Put 2.5 oz of grounds in a spice bag. If you bought the coffee kit set, you will have a spice bag. We prefer 4x6 size. Put in crock pot.
Pour in 1 gallon (or less, to your liking) water.
Cook on high 2.5 or more hours. The longer you cook it, the more "bitter" the coffee flavor.
If you really like the flavor of espresso, you can really concentrate your grounds by cooking on the stovetop.
Put 3 tbsp of grounds in a spice or tea bag. If you bought the coffee kit set, you will have a spice bag. We prefer 4x6 size.
Pour in 16 oz water. Simmer on the stovetop until about half the water evaporates.
When you have 8 oz water left, you will have a more espresso type coffee.
To make in your coffee maker, please first ensure you have the finely ground version of this coffee alternative.
For one cup, put 1 tbsp grounds in the coffee filter. Select your setting. If your maker has a "rich" or similar setting, that works best.
For some coffee makers, this may be a lighter coffee, more like a blonde roast.

Read on below for some great ideas for preserving your coffee grounds and reusing them!
Freezing your grounds for later use.
If you know you might want to reuse your grounds but are not ready to do so right away, just save them!
Put your grounds in a freezer safe container, and allow to fully cool.
Label and put in the freezer until you are ready to use.
Dehydrating your grounds for later use.
If you want to start your processing of your grounds right away, before freezing, or when you are ready to use, dehydrating them is helpful.
First, put in the blender with just enough water to turn. Blend to smooth. They won't be perfectly smooth, but will have a grainy pudding-like consistency.
Then, put on silicone trays and dehydrate.
After your grounds are dry, you can powder them in the blender or flour mill. Either use right away, or store for later.
The grounds are best used as a flour additive.
To use as flour, run blended grounds through a fine sifter. Any larger pieces can be saved to make tea.
Use just a few tablespoons in any recipe with ancient or gluten free grains.
If you want to use more than that, see below for proven recipes as we create them.

Use the spent grounds to make a cup of refreshing tea. Put 1 tbsp in a tea bag and make the same way as tea.
